tasty butter (vegetarian)

1. butter ½ cup (1 stick)
2. shallot 1
  garlic 2 cloves
  lime the juice of 1 lime
  salt to taste
  black pepper to taste
  cayenne pepper a pinch

1. Soften the butter on the counter or in your microwave.

2. Mince the shallot and add it to the butter. Crush the garlic and add it. Squeeze in the lime juice, add the salt and pepper and cayenne, and stir until everything is incorporated in the butter.

3. Taste and add more salt or pepper or lime juice as you think it's needed.
